Affirmative Action Agreement

Teaching A system of convocation or other agreement, in writing or tacitly, to train a person in a profession or trade recognized in accordance with certain standards. There is often confusion about the relationship between diversity and inclusion practices and the EEO and affirmative action. EEO refers to fairness and equal treatment for certain designated protected categories as defined by law. EEO means that the employer gives all persons equal consideration of employment and conditions of work and employment and that the employer does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, religion, age, marital status, national origin, disability or sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity or expression). See the management of equal employment opportunities and its EEO policy statement. The Written PAA for Women and Minorities sets out specific and results-oriented procedures for the EEO, which, combined with the efforts of a contractor, aim, in good faith, to ensure the full representation of a diverse workforce. Such contractor and subcontractor shall meet the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4 (a), 60-300.5 (a) and 60-741.5 (a). These rules prohibit discrimination based on their status as Protected Veterans or Persons with Disabilities and prohibit discrimination based on their race, skin colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. .
